llms.txt
This page tells a coding agent where rb’s documentation is, in the forms an agent reads best.
If you are an agent working in a repository with a .rb/ folder, start with rb context --model <your model id>, not with these pages: it is the state of the work, and it replaces anyone’s summary of it.
These docs, as text
Section titled “These docs, as text”| Address | What it is |
|---|---|
| /docs/llms.txt | An index of every page of these docs, with a one-line description each. |
| /docs/llms-full.txt | Every page of these docs but the Changelog, in one plain-text Markdown file. |
rabbitbrain.ai/llms.txt is rb’s own summary for agents: what the record is, the rules an agent follows, and what it must pass on to the user.
Built into rb
Section titled “Built into rb”The manual ships inside every rb, so it always matches the installed version:
rb docs # the whole manual: every rule, every command, the JSON envelope, every error and its fixrb docs --start # the protocol for starting the record in a project already under wayrb docs --errors # the error tablerb skill # the skill rb installs for coding agentsOver MCP (rb mcp), the same manual is the resource rb://docs, beside rb://start, rb://context, rb://status, rb://schema and rb://format.
What an agent must not do
Section titled “What an agent must not do”- Compute a finding, an error, a ranking or a regression itself: record the numbers, and read the finding with
rb show. - Edit
.rb/by hand. - Record a call the user did not ask for, or run
rb confirm, which only the user runs, in their own terminal. - Set or unset
RB_ACTORorRB_HUB_TOKEN, or read the credentials filerb loginwrites. See Auth.
